Hearts Beating Faster

Why do our hearts beat, some faster than others; why do our clocks tick; steady and fast.

I’m ready to be; I’m ready to last;

How many days; how many minutes past;

How much longer do I have to broadcast?

I do what I may with what I have,

I take what’s given and I laugh.

Thank you for this blessed day,

My heart beats faster if it may.

Under the chance of total gusto,

The drum goes faster like with robusto.

I tread my solemn organ with great respect,

It is the universe within a speck.

I am gifted, I am blessed - this heart of mine I am impressed.

A sweet sensation as it may, to feel your heart beat close toanother’s way.

And my soul so does incline, to make this motion into decline.

And yet I feel a certain way, my heart goes steady by the day.

Like summer in June or spring in May,

I do as I may I do as I may.
